Marlys Mallet and Michael Redhawk
Marlys'artwork has its roots in Italian Futurism resonating with energy, dynamism, and glowing color. Her paintings adorn corporate lobbies and residences across the country, including Sedona, AZ, where she was selected to create murals for the city's first sponsored public art. Mallet's education and career in fine art spans the US from Seattle to Boston, from New Orleans to California and Arizona. Her globetrotting adventures have developed a deep affinity for nature and humanity. In a world where soulless images can be found in abundance, Mallet weaves this positive exuberance for life into her paintings. "As an abstract artist, my passion is to make the invisible visible. Realistic painters and photographers base their imaging on the real world. I love creating works of art that add a unique dimension of beauty and mystery."
Combining their many years of experience, Marlys K. Mallet and Michael Redhawk combine to create a new series of work on the same canvas. What they accomplish in "Unisons" are unique and exciting works of art that neither artist could have created alone. As a realistic husband and abstract wife team they share a studio, but this breakthrough in artistic concepts is the first time they have merged their totally different styles into cohesive works of art.
